Organizing and Decluttering = Trial and Error

NJ Organizing Expert Marilyn Shain Labendz shows you how to keep your balance while organizing

Does organizing on your own make you feel as if a huge wave knocked you down?

It's all trial and error, learning to go with the ebb and flow and keep rearranging until you find the right way.

Keep yourself open to new possibilities.

What's the problem with this shelf? (Changing the shelving system is not an option for the client).

NJ Organizer, Marilyn Shain Labendz, offers a solution to this problem shelf

  • The "feet" of the pans keep getting stuck in the slots of the shelving.

  • Having to remove the rest of the pans to get the one that is needed makes a lot of noise...especially if cooking at night.

  • You have to either put the other pans back until the desired pan is washed and ready to go back, or leave the pile of pans in the hallway floor.

Here's the easy, creative and quickly solved solution? Stackable letter trays!

NJ Organizer, Marilyn Shain Labendz, uses desk organizers to easily stack pans

  • Use stackable letter trays, these are plastic, but metal ones are just fine, each pan slips into its own spot. (The dollar store has them, as well).

  • Because the surface of the separators are flat, nothing gets caught in the slots.

  • The electric frying pan stands alone because its huge, but it can house the large soup pot lids.

  • There is even one extra slot for a new pan my client is planning to buy.
